Insurance & Liability
Daydreamer Photography carries general liability insurance for accidents caused by the photographer’s actions or equipment. This coverage does not extend to:
• Client or guest actions
• Vendor actions
• Environmental hazards
• Damage to client or venue property
Equipment Failure, Weather & Catastrophic Loss
Client understands that photography involves electronic equipment and venue or outdoor risks. In the rare event of equipment failure, data loss, illness, or catastrophic circumstances preventing delivery, Photographer’s liability shall not exceed the total amount paid.
Force Majeure
If illness, natural disaster, government restriction, or events beyond the Photographer’s control prevent performance, all payments will be credited toward a future event.
35mm Film Photography
Client is aware that film is particulalry unreliable. Every effort will be made to deliver one roll of film, in the event of failure or damage preventing delivery, the loss is acknowledged, but no refunds are possible.
Substitution
In the unlikely event Photographer cannot attend due to emergency, a comparable professional may be substituted or a full refund issued.
Included Second Photographer
This wedding collection includes a second photographer. The second photographer will assist in documenting the day under the direction of the Photographer. They are chosen and mangaged soley by the Photographer.
The presence of a second photographer does not change the Photographer’s artistic style, editing approach, or final image delivery. All images are curated, edited, and delivered solely by the Photographer.
The second photographer is present to support coverage and logistics, but no specific images, moments, or viewpoints are guaranteed. The Photographer remains the primary storyteller and creative lead for the event.
Assumption of Risk, Release & Indemnification
Clients acknowledge the risks inherent in weddings, including uneven terrain, weather, crowds, low light, emotional situations, alcohol-related behavior, and vendor interactions. Clients agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Photographer from claims arising from client, guest, or vendor actions.
Artistic Style
Client understands that Daydreamer Photography’s work reflects the photographer’s artistic judgment, including choices related to lighting, color, mood, composition, and editing. No specific image is guaranteed.
Interference
Photographer is not responsible for compromised images due to guests, vendor obstructions, or venue restrictions.
Safe Working Environment
Photographer reserves the right to leave the event if subjected to harassment, unsafe conditions, or aggressive behavior. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
Continuous Shooting Not Guaranteed
The Photographer’s style is intentional and responsive, not continuous or uninterrupted. Coverage does not mean constant image capture, and moments may be observed, anticipated, or approached thoughtfully rather than recorded at all times.
The Client understands that the Photographer may pause shooting to assess light, adjust settings, move locations, communicate with the couple or coordinator, eat, hydrate, or rest briefly. These natural pauses are part of the creative process and do not reduce the value or scope of coverage.
No guarantee of continuous shooting is implied.
Limitation of Liability
Photographer’s total liability is limited to the total fees paid.
RAW files and unedited images are the sole property of the Photographer and are not given to clients under any circumstances.
Included Album or Print Credit
This collection includes the Client’s choice of either one (1) 8x8 professionally printed album or a set of single 4x6 professional photographic prints.
Album design, image selection, layout, cover material, and print lab are selected by the Photographer to ensure quality, color accuracy, and consistency with the Photographer’s work. One round of minor layout revisions is included; additional changes or reprints may incur a fee.
If prints are selected, paper type, and lab are chosen by the Photographer.
Copyright & Image Use
Daydreamer Photography retains full copyright to all images.
Client is granted personal-use rights.
